    First doc appointment

I was supposed to get a phone call yesterday about trying to get me into the docs this week. It had to be this week, or I wouldn’t get seen until August since they are only doing prenatal stuff for July.

    I didn’t get a call.

So I called them today, and after 2 hours of tag, I got an appointment this afternoon at 3:30.

I went in and we went over the massive issue that I’ve been having (It’s a real TMI thing, so we won’t get into that). He was very concerned, especially since it’s been going on for a year and a half and basically haven’t been seen (not counting the ER visit that did no good last year). I also had an abnormal pap the last time I had one, which was in 2002 (My old job refused to let me take time off to visit my OB or my Cardiologist b/c I missed too much work being on life support…suckers). He took a ton of blood to run tests on, and I go in next Tuesday for a pelvic ultrasound. Then the following Tuesday I go in to have a biopsy of my uterus done, and a pap. He says that I’m probably going to need a hysterectomy’ish type thing, but we’ll wait until after we have the test results back before they start whatever course of treatment I’ll need. What ends up being done - meaning, by what means - depends on the results.

So, Deb said that she’d come in early on both of those Tuesdays for me so I can make the appointments…BUT! She got a phone call at 6:30pm from the OR nurse at County Hospital telling her that SHE is scheduled for her hysterectomy on MONDAY! She knew she was going to have one, but she figured it would be after her d&c followup appointment which is scheduled for NEXT Wednesday.

Oh, the stress of it all….

That’s what you push when you’re restarting your computer so that you can reformat and erase every damn thing on it.

Had this thing for about 4 years and this was the first time we had to format. DH (I’m placing blame, here) got us a stupid virus that did stupid things. Couldn’t do a roll back, because the stupid virus erased all of our backup sessions. It also blocked us from researching what was wrong. I had to use Chrome instead, as it’s a legitimately stupid virus that only screwed with the searches on IE & FF. I tried to do the format the way I’ve done other Dells, by going into the boot thingamajig (f2), but my computer is apparently different than the rest. A good Google search turned up the “Press F-11 and it will take you to a hidden partition”. It returned my computer fully to the way it was the day we got it. Which means I had a lot of extra Dell-Installed shit to remove. This is only the 2nd time we got a virus, so I think we’re doing good for having a computer for 10 years, lol.

In other news, yesterday was Joey’s 9th birthday. He’s officially turned into a 13 year old girl. Turned into Mr. Judy Attitudy. He got a bike with a helmet, 3 Bionicles, and 2 new UB Funkey’s. He got a free breakfast at my work, and then we went to Kylies birthday party (the grand-daughter of one of my customers). We gave her a Tamogachi and they gave him a Terrain Titan (R/C car). Just another one to add to the massive collection that is my husbands shelves, ROFL.

Today we had a “fake party” for his “fake birthday”. My nephew Gavin was being a rude asshole, and he was mad b/c my other nephew, Dan (who’s 18) wouldn’t go over to his house. He came because Joey invited him to play Xbox, and that’s what he did :)

Then I took DH, Daniel, & Joey out - WAY OUT - to an r/c track to play. It’s at some guys house, he lives on several acres with a few horses and he turned his front yard and the entire side of his house into an offroad track. Every mans dream (if they’re into that kind of thing). There were a lot of people there, and a lot of noisy nitro cars. It was out in BFE, so I saw a lot of field mice, too, lol. Joey made friends with a Rottie & a Doberman, and one of the two horses. I got a sunburn and a mouth full of dirt when I was trying to record some of the racing.

Oh, and get this. On our way home…I got on the FREEWAY! OMG, I was scared. I’ve never gone more than 55mph. The speed limit on the freeway is 75. I took it about halfway home, but then I got off before I hit the stack. I can’t even stand looking at that thing, let alone driving thru it. In all reality, I could have gone another 2 miles, then switched over to the 101 freeway and brought that home, but I totally chickened out and hit the regular streets.

Anyway, I’m gonna go to bed. It’s been a long ass wee and I’m beat. I’ve gotta wait for a phone call from my doctors office tomorrow and find out the dealio with that. Sister is on vacay, so she’s gonna take the boys swimming tomorrow. And Grandma doesn’t want anyone to help her clean her house, so……
